SunnyPaw
is dedicated to our beloved pup, Sarah,
who was the sunshine of our lives for
over 12 years. To everyone she met, two-legged
or four-legged, she was endlessly sweet,
gentle and loving; she was truly an ambassador
of goodwill.
One of her favorite things
in the world to do was to take a car ride,
and it was then that she would always
get a special treat or two. We set aside
time out of literally every day to take
a ride with her. There was nothing more
wonderful than seeing how happy she was
with the sun on her back, with fresh air
and blue skies all around.
As Sarah grew older, it
became more difficult to find snacks that
were interesting to her, and that were
also easy to chew and digest. We wanted
to give her things that were good for
her to eat, that she enjoyed, and that
were freshly made with ingredients that
we understood. That is eventually how
SunnyPaw came to be.
We did our best to make
her meals wholesome, and she enjoyed eating
dinner at the same time we did. Even if
we put her food out for her first, she
would wait until we began. Our mornings
began with her, and our evenings ended
with her. She was our heart dog; we were
one with each other. |
